Embalming
When a loved one passes away, naturally, the body will start to deteriorate. The process of embalming slows this down which allows loved ones to remember the deceased more in the memory of how they were.
Updated
Embalming is not always required, for example if you are having a direct cremation, then it will not be necessary, however, for families who want to sit with their loved ones in our Chapel of Rest or when there is a time delay between death and burial/cremation then embalming might be recommended.
When the time comes, our experienced staff will be able to give guidance on the process and whether it is something that is required.
