Costs For A Funeral – Requesting An Estimate
We understand how difficult a time it can be to arrange the funeral of a loved one, as well as considering covering the costs.
In recognition of this we will never ask for any type of deposit or ‘upfront fees’ before a funeral service takes place. We allow those using our services the time to arrange your finances, providing a detailed estimate of the funeral cost before the service takes place. This allows you to focus on the funeral ceremony, without a need to pay any deposit or upfront fees.
The costs on this website are valid from 1st April 2021.
Our Essential Service would meet you directly at either Kingsdown or North Wiltshire Crematorium, and includes the provision of our hearse, bearers, funeral director, bringing your loved one into our care. Visits to the chapel of rest are also available, during normal office hours.
The Traditional Funeral Service offers full use of our chapel of rest and its facilities for visiting your loved one, including evenings and weekends.
Additional services would be available within the Traditional Service that would also have an impact on the costs, to name a few they could include – coffin choice (Ermin coffin is the most cost effective), horse drawn hearse, alternative hearse, limousines, church fees.
The option of flowers, obituary notice, orders of service and full options with regards to the cremated remains after the service are available for both types of service.
By listening to you we will respectfully guide you, ensuring that the final act of saying goodbye is arranged in the way that reflects you and your loved one.
